I was rooting for you so hard! All I can say is, that other book must really be something if it was better than Venus of Chalk, which made my breath catch more than once. I'm a reader through and through, and that is pretty rare for me.

If you want a wry (and only slightly bitter) silver lining, well, at least you get to keep that "Most underrated" ranking. Wah!
